News From The Isle Of Eriskay
He made contact with the manufacturers, Cardiac Science, which led him to Scottish H.A.R.T and after a number of discussions with them and attending local meetings on Eriskay, he arranged for them to come over to the island to give a talk and a demonstration of the machine and meet some of the islanders. This was achieved on April 16 and subsequent to that, Cardiac Science issued the following press release:
“The islanders have agreed to get
involved in fund-raising so we agreed to hand over the AED
at our first visit,” said Wilma Gunn. “With both Neilina and
Michael dedicated to carry the fund-raising forward over the
next few months and support the work that Scottish HART is
doing.”
