The Cameron Gunn Memorial Football Tournament

A lovely day for the Cameron Gunn Memorial Football Tournament on Sunday 11th June 2006 at Netherdale, Galashiels.

All the boys and girls really enjoyed themselves, and the fantastic sum of £1350.00 was raised on the day!

Kelso Races!

May 9th dawned bright and sunny - thank goodness, because we were off to the races!

This was the day of our first venture into catering at the charity room at Kelso, and we hoped the good weather would bring in the punters.
We were right!

Our lovely buffet, provided by the joint efforts of our brilliant volunteers and home-bakers, looked superb and was much appreciated by the race-goers. Our team of servers, led by Judith, did a sterling job and Wilma did a great job in charge of the raffle.

In all a wonderful day was enjoyed by everyone, our food went down a treat, and Scottish H.A.R.T. funds were increased by the magnificent sum of £592.00 - we also did a good bit of networking during the day and hope to return before too long!

Thanks again to all our super volunteers on the day - Nicola Corbett, Alex Crabtree, Craig Fyfe, Bill Richardson and Lady Sally Strang-Steel.

Collections at Morrison's Supermarket, Hawick

Two days of collecting at Morrison's Supermarket in Hawick, on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th of May 2006.

Scottish H.A.R.T. funds were increased by the magnificent sum of £675.00, courtesy of all the generous shoppers.
